The Black Lutheran Alumni Scholarship Team / B.L.A.S.T. is proud to announce the awarding of its second Peggy Greer Calloway / Richard J. Ridley, Jr. Trailblazer Award Scholarship to the recent 2023 Concordia Lutheran High School graduates Paige Jackson and Ulysses Jackson II. Paige earned the $1,000 dollar scholarship, and Ulysses received the $500 award for their application and essays submitted to B.L.A.S.T. during the spring of the 2022-23 school year. That process and review were finalized this past summer, and the winners were announced on the federal holiday of Juneteenth - Monday, 19 June 2023. Both Paige and Ulysses have been four-year students attending Concordia and have achieved highly in the areas of academics and extracurricular activities while also being recognized as student leaders within the school. Paige will be attending Ball State University,  while Ulysses has chosen Purdue University. We want to congratulate them on being the recipients of this scholarship and wish them much success as they embark on their collegiate experience and begin this new phase in their lives!
